Dear Valued Clients,

Over the past week, many South African hosting providers (and their clients) have been the subject of Phishing Attacks targeting Domain renewals and other services. In these emails, recipients are requested to log in or provide banking/credit card information in order to renew their domain names or services.

A similar phishing email has been received by some clients. In this email, recipients are either requested to renew a domain name or that a Payment Failed, and further action is required.

We urge you to be careful and not click on any of the links in these Phishing Emails.

Only access your account by typing https://limelitehosting.net/billing/login into the browser search bar.

If you are unsure whether an email is from us, please contact us directly.

What is phishing?

Phishing is an email scam sent by cybercriminals imitating a legitimate source, such as a bank, popular website, or service provider. The aim is to trick people into revealing sensitive information like passwords or credit card details by encouraging recipients to click on links that lead to fraudulent websites.

Stay vigilant and never provide personal information via any email.

Kind regards,

The limeliteHosting.net Team
